The purpose of the Topeka Gem & Mineral Society is exclusively educational and scientific.
We work to:
- Promote interest in Geology and the lapidary arts.
- Encourage the collection and display of rocks, gems and minerals.
- Encourage field trips and excursions of a geological, mineralogical or lapidary nature.
- Encourage greater public interest and education in gems and minerals, cooperating with established institutions in such matters.

Once again, we'll have our special division for 4-Hers to enter their specimen boxes, Lapidary projects, and special exhibits! It's one last chance to show off their hard work over the past year before the new 4-H year begins!
