EVENT DETAILS:
This first annual Red, White & Blue BBQ Fest is a brand new BBQ Competition and Festival at the Stormont Vail Events Center in Topeka, Kansas! It'll showcase the teams of the Red, White & Blue BBQ competition, and will include live music, craft vendors, food, drinks, children’s activities and other entertainment for the entire community. Teams from all over North America are coming to Topeka to participate.
FRIDAY:
BBQ Bucks Night from 5pm-10pm!
There will be live music, beer gardens and face painting. The public is invited out to get a taste from participating teams! The public will use BBQ Bucks ($1.00=1 BBQBuck) that are available to buy from the events center on-site Friday. Participating teams will receive 90% back from their BBQ Buck sales. Cash and a trophy will be presented to the team voted “Fan Favorite” of the event.
FOOD TRUCKS (Friday evening): Poppin Squeeze
SATURDAY:
Judging, Festival (10am-4pm), Barn Dance (6pm-10pm) & PEPSI-COLA OF TOPEKA Firework Show (9pm)
Teams will submit their entries for the judging on Saturday. Winners will be announced Saturday afternoon. Activities for the public, and the participants, will be happening all day & night long both inside the events center and outdoors! Saturday will include live music, bounce houses, activity areas, food trucks, booths & the COORS LIGHT Cornhole Tournament.
To end the night, there will be a barn dance inside Domer Arena and the PEPSI-COLA OF TOPEKA Fireworks Show.

Total Prize Money Purse for the Red, White and Blue BBQ Competition is $20,000!
This KCBS (Kansas City BBQ Society) sanctioned competition is a qualifying event for the American Royal World Series of Barbecue and the Jack Daniels World Championship in 2022.
Teams will be judged on Chicken, Ribs, Pork and Brisket.
